Battery Cover Assembly & Welding Automation

Fully integrated ultrasonic welding, automatic assembly, and vision inspection cell.

Technical Specification & Case Study

Detailed analysis of our integrated automated assembly and welding solution.

System Overview

This advanced Special Purpose Machine is a fully automated cell engineered for the precision assembly, multi-stage inspection, and ultrasonic welding of battery covers. Designed to eliminate manual assembly errors and maintain high production yields, the cell integrates part-presence verification, high-accuracy component alignment, and quality checks into a single continuous sequence.

The system uses high-frequency ultrasonic welding technology to achieve hermetic sealing and high mechanical strength at critical joints. Automatic component feeding, coupled with pneumatic clamp verification, ensures parts are locked in the correct alignment prior to weld cycle initiation. Advanced depth-of-weld sensors and camera inspection verify dimensional integrity and detect any cosmetic or seal defects post-welding.
